Gary Biggs, MBA, CA
I earned my CA designation in 1990 and graduated from the MBA program at
the University of Alberta in 1997. Before becoming an accountant I worked
as a circulation supervisor for the Edmonton Journal and then a sales
manager for Woodward’s Stores Ltd.
I have taught accounting, tax and other business courses at various post-
secondary institutions including the University of Alberta, the University of
Lethbridge, NAIT and Grant McEwan (then a college). In addition, I
instructed in and managed (CMA) exam preparation programs for the CMAs
in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta.
Personal
In my spare time I enjoy hiking, cycling, and back packing. Though I
don’t pretend to be good at it, I also like horseback riding and working
on vehicles.
